April 25: Lalit Modi is suspended as Chairman and Commissioner of the IPL after the final of the event because of alleged financial irregularities and rigging of bids.
April 26: Modi is charged on five counts, including irregularities in the bids of Rajasthan Royals and Kings XI Punjab as well as broadcast and internet deals. Chirayu Amin, another vice-president of the BCCI, replaces him at the helm.
May 6: Second showcause notice to Modi after the English boardu00a0 accuses him of inciting counties to overpower their governing body and the players to revolt if not allowed to play in the IPL.
May 7: English counties deny allegations of starting a parallel T20 League in UK.
May 15: Modi responds with a staggering 15,000-page to the first showcause notice.
May 25: Modi asks BCCI chief Manohar and secretary N Srinivasan to stay away from the process; also demands an independent panel to decide his fate.
May 31: Modi is served a third showcause notice over grant of theatrical rights and on the issue of advertisements in between deliveries during the telecast of IPL III.
June 1: Modi replies to second showcause notice from BCCI.
June 4: Modi reveals that Amin was part of the IPL bid for Pune team that involved a company in which a former BCCI chief's family owned 16 per cent.
June 19: Manohar is relieved from the three-man disciplinary committee constituted to conduct a hearing against Modi.
June 29: BCCI cancels all rights handed to WSG Mauritius by Modi that granted the IPL broadcast rights.
July 3: Jyotiraditya Scindia replaces Manohar as the head of the disciplinary committee.
July 6: Modi demands disbandment of BCCI's disciplinary committee. In a legal notice to the BCCI, he asks for the removal of Amin and Arun Jaitley.
August 25: E-mail exchange between Modi and Srinivasan suggests that the bid was 'fixed' to ensure CSK gets Flintoff.
August 28: Manohar says Modi's charges against Srinivasan are 'blatant lies'.
Sept 1: I-T officials probe Modi's link to an aircraft deal.
Sept 9: Modi files a fresh petition against disciplinary panel.
Sept 12: The three-day BCCI disciplinary committee meeting was cancelled as the Bombay HC was hearing the petition by Modi.
