England batsman Ian Bell claims that Eoin Morgan's emergence as a Test player shows the depth of the national squad.
Bell is out of the current Test series against Pakistan as he is recovering from a broken metatarsal.

The injury has opened the door for Morgan, who has cemented his place with his maiden Test century helping to set up the crushing 354-run win at Trent Bridge.
"I think it's good for the overall team. Eoin has been playing some fantastic cricket, he's a fantastic young player and he has a great future with this team," The Sun quoted Bell, as saying.

"In a squad you can always be missing a couple of people with injuries and it's good to have people who can step up and do the job," he added.
He further said that the current batting unit is the strongest that England has had in some time.

"You look in the hundreds column and there are five of us who are into double figures, I don't think an England side has had that for a long period of time," Bell said.

"That is a great place to be and with Eoin coming in now and doing fantastically well and Matty Prior churning out some hundreds too it looks great," he added.
