Johannesburg: South Africa pacer Morne Morkel has asked his side has to play good, disciplined cricket and asserted that they need to be tough if they want to win the third Test of the four-match series against India.

Morkel said he would be happier if he managed to put pressure on the batsmen, insisting that his side needs to bowl well in partnerships.

The fast bowler asserted that his team would surely win the match if they manage to control their game plans and execute well.

Describing his team as 'number one', the 31-year-old urged South Africa to show the qualities of a leading side, Sport24 reported.

The visitors will head into the next match without Vernon Philander while Dale Steyn's availability for the third Test is also in doubt as he has been recovering from a groin injury.

India are currently leading the series by 1-0 following their 108-run win over the visitors at Mohali. The second Test between two sides was called-off because of persistent rain and wet outfield.

India will now play the third Test against South Africa at Nagpur from November 25 while fourth and the final Test is likely to be played at Feroz Shah Kotla Ground from December 3.
