Riding on Mukund's unbeaten century, India âA' were well placed at 246 for four when they declared. India âA' had posted a mammoth 554-8 declared in the first innings while the hosts declared their first essay at 424-7.
New Zealand âA' could bat for only three balls when play was called off. The two-Test series thus ended in a no result. Mukund started the final day with Anustup Majumdar (32) at the other end. Majumdar could add only 24 runsu00a0to his overnight score before left-arm spinner George Worker caught him off his own bowling. Next batsman, Mumbai's Surya Kumar Yadav (6) didn't last long.
