Although the players have been dropped from the squad after test results were known yesterday, Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) will take up the matter with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).u00a0
"It is not possible that all these (11) players are over aged. There is definitely something wrong with the bone test. We will talk to the BCCI about it. Many parents have come to us with birth certificates and other age-proof documents. As of now, their names have been removed from the squad," MCA joint honorary secretary Dr PV Shetty told MiD DAY.
The names have been withheld to protect the identity of the players. It is learnt that some prominent names in Mumbai's junior cricket have been found over-age.u00a0
