Shami turned up for his club Mohun Bagan before making a dash to Bangalore again to continue his rehabilitation at the National Cricket Academy.

Shami, who batted and bowled in the match CAB Senior Knockout tournament match against George Telegraph, played under the watchful eyes of an NCA physio, who will then report to the NCA's chief physiotherapist Andrew Leipus.

'Following doctor's advice'
"I don't have any discomfort now. I am regularly following the advice of the doctor and I am improving every day," claimed Shami.

Shami's club teammates Wriddhiman Saha and Laxmi Ratan Shukla felt the India pacer would be fully fit for the World T20 which will kick off in India next month.
