A potential hurdle for the 2011 cricket World Cup in the sub-continent may be if Pakistan refuse to play in India due to the growing political tension.

PCB's COO Saleem Altaf had hinted earlier that they would take their time in deciding whether or not to play in India. However, ICC chief executive Haroon Lorgat feels Pakistan will play here.

"I don't think Pakistan would object to playing matches in India," he said at the BCCI headquarters. India will host 29 out of 49 WC ties while Sri Lanka and Bangladesh will stage 12 and 8 respectively.
