Cricket legend-turned-politician Imran Khan divorced his second wife Reham in October 2015 after 10 months of marriage.
Six months after getting married to television journalist Reham Khan, there were rumours that the marriage was falling apart.
Since the divorce, the 43-year-old former journalist has been coming out with sensational statements attacking the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) chairman.
After 'dog issues', 'sms divorce' and 'black magic' allegations, the Reham has now claimed that the politician divorced her when she asked for a wedding anniversary gift last year.
Reham, while speaking to Pakistan's Geo news, said that she had jokingly mentioned on October 31 last year that she wanted a present ahead of the couple's wedding anniversary. "He divorced me instead," she revealed. Taking a swipe at the Pakistan Tahreek-i-Insaf lader, Reham said, "Let's pray he doesn't do something like this with Pakistan."
In November 2015, she claimed that black magic was primarily used to cause breakup between her and Imran. Reham in a tweet following her divorce stated that the Quran says that Satan taught black magic to separate couples. "The Quran states that the fundamental reason why Iblees (Satan) taught people black magic was in order to cause separation between husband and wife," Reham's tweet further said.
Earlier, reports surfaced that a row over dogs led to the couple's divorce. It was reported that Reham was unhappy that Imran's dogs entered her bedroom as well, while close relatives of her husband were also made to feel unwelcome at their Bani Gala residence.
It had also been claimed that Imran divorced Reham through a text message followed by a brief email. She is said to have received the text message communicating divorce when she stepped off the plane at Birmingham airport.
