Bollywood actor and co-owner of Indian Premier League team Kings XI Punjab, Preity Zinta created a mild furore as she and a few friends strolled in for lunch at Jimmy's Kitchen, a famous Italian joint in the McLeodganj area.
A couple of the starlet's bodyguards immediately walked over to the hotel staff and told them that no one will be allowed to approach the actress for autographs or photographs as their boss wanted to have a quick and quiet lunch with family and friends.

Minutes before entering the restaurant, Zinta, who hails from this very state of Himachal Pradesh (born in Shimla), behaved like a complete local here as she roamed the narrow streets of the McLeodganj market even as her team celebrated their 111-run victory over the Royal Challengers Bangalore last night with a luncheon party at a terrace restaurant nearby.
Zinta didn't take more than a few minutes to place her order. She was even seen guiding her friends on what to eat. "I'm a huge fan of hers," said restaurant owner Migmar Lhamo, who however confessed that this was the actor's first visit to the eatery. "Actors Sameera Reddy, Aftab Shivdasani and many more famous faces have visited us too, but Preity is special to me," added Lhamo.u00a0
So, what exactly did the pretty woman eat? "Preity first ordered an Aubergine Bake, which is a vegetarian dish baked in tomato sauce. Her second dish was the Puttanesca, which is a pasta in a spicy fresh tomato sauce," Lhamo explained to MiD DAY. The KXIP met the Dalai Lama yesterday afternoon before their luncheon terrace party.
