Mumbai batsman Ajinkya Rahane has impressed one and all with his determined batting in the one-dayers. But he is a man of few words.
"I will try my best and hope India can win," Rahane said.
The Mumbai opener scored 40 and 54 in the first two ODIs and looked in prime form.
"I had done my preparations before coming here. Initially I was nervous, but I got to learn more after joining the team.
Everyone in the dressing room encouraged me," he said.
England are currently leading India 1-0 ahead of Friday's third match at the Oval in the ongoing best-of-five series, although the injury-hit tourists are missing several of the stars who featured in April's World Cup win.
