At close of play, Haryana were 34 for 2 and importantly for Mumbai, Haryana mainstay and Plate division's top-run getter, Sunny Singh, was dismissed for a duck. Earlier in the day, resuming from their overnight score of 238 for 5, Mumbai reached 400 with Ajinkya Rahane scoring 143, Ramesh Powar 53 and Iqbal Abdulla remaining unbeaten on 45.
