Tiwary looked in fine fettle when he clubbed two consecutive sixes Ishwar Pandey over long off at the pavilion end.

On Saturday, Madhya Pradesh took a humungous 787-lead to put Bengal completely out of the reckoning for a semi-final berth.

Madhya Pradesh declared their second innings at 560-9, setting Bengal an impossible 788-run target. At stumps, Bengal were reeling at 107 for three. Bengal skipper Tiwary was unbeaten on 32.

Earlier, Harpreet (overnight 18 not out) slammed the Bengal bowlers to all parts of the Brabourne. He hit 14 fours in his 206-ball knock.
