Srinagar: Kerala made a positive start after Jammu and Kashmir posted 330 all out in their Group C Ranji Trophy cricket match in Srinagar on Friday.
Starting on their overnight score of 247 for seven, the hosts rode on senior batsman Bandeep Singh's 82 and his 120-run partnership for the eighth wicket with Waseem Raza (73) before being bowled out in 106.5 overs at the Sher-i-Kashmir Stadium.
Bandeep hit 10 fours in his 211-ball knock, while Raza found the fence eight times while 106 balls. Vice-captain Parveez Rasool had made 54 yesterday.
Karaparambil Monish was the most successful bowler for Kerala, picking up 3/63. In reply, Kerala ended the second day at a solid 158 for two in 68 overs. Opener V A Jagadeesh was run out after scoring 69, with the help of six fours. At stumps, Rohan Prem was batting on 67 after facing 187 balls, and giving him company was Sachin Baby (5).
