Ronaldinho announced here on Thursday that he was poised to continue his career back home in Brazil after reaching agreement to cut short his contract with Italian club AC Milan.
The 30-year-old two-time former world player of the year had vented his frustration at Milan on Wednesday, claiming the San Siro side were dragging their heels on his planned transfer to Gremio.
"I'm not up for auction. If it was up to me I'd already be wearing the Gremio jersey even if it means earning less," Ronaldinho told the Globoesporte website.
"The problem isn't the offer that has been made for me but Milan's demands."
