Real Madrid have a problem on their hands after Cristiano Ronaldo was ruled out for three weeks with a hamstring strain, claims Barcelona's Andres Iniesta
Real Madrid have a problem on their hands after Cristiano Ronaldo was ruled out for three weeks with a hamstring strain, claims Barcelona's Andres Iniesta.
The Portuguese ace was told he faces a spell out of action following the problem he sustained in the 2-1 win over Atletico Madrid on Saturday evening, and Iniesta feels Ronaldo's absence could be detrimental to Real's title hopes.
"He is one of the best players in the world, and it's always something important for any team when you cannot rely on a player like this," Iniesta told Marca.
"I don't know how Madrid will cope, but they have a good squad and players who can come in for injuries."
Iniesta is pleased with Barca's 2-1 win over Getafe following a worrying week for the Barcelona, after Eric Abidal's treatment for a liver tumour on Thursday. "It's a good result for us after a complicated week," he said.
