Kochi: Reacting to the news that the Delhi Police will be appealing against his and others' exoneration in the 2013 Indian Premier League (IPL) match fixing case, former India pacer S Sreesanth insisted on Friday that he was clean and that he has faith in God, which gives him the will to fight.

Police in Delhi announced plans to appeal a lower court's verdict clearing Sreesanth and two teammates of spot-fixing during the 2013 IPL.
"Let them go ahead, I have faith in God and my people are behind me. I have nothing more to say on what they are going to do," Sreesanth told reporters here yesterday.
A New Delhi court exonerated him and two other players after they were charged with match fixing in the 2013 IPL tournament last month. The players were acquitted because of a lack of a specific law to deal with a crime such as spot fixing.
The Kerala Cricket Association has already written to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) seeking the lifting of the ban imposed on Sreesanth. Kerala chief minister O Chandy has said his government will do anything for Sreesanth.
