Sachin Tendulkar added another feather to his cap when he scored his sixth World Cup hundred in the Group 'B' game against South Africa here on Saturday.
Tendulkar's 111 from 101 balls was his 48th in one-day internationals and 99th in international matches.
The 37-year-old star also completed 2000 ODI runs against South Africa in the course of his innings.
South Africa are now the fourth team against whom the maestro has reached the milestone -Australia (3005 runs), Pakistan (2389) and Sri Lanka (2965) being the other opponents.
Tendulkar, playing his sixth World Cup, already holds the record for most runs scored by an individual in the flagship event of the ICC, having aggregated 2120 runs in 41 matches so far. He achieved the feat in the game against Netherlands recently. West Indies is India's last group opponent.
