Boosted by a thrilling win over Mahendra Singh Dhoni's Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Mumbai Indians will hope to continue their winning ways in the Champions League T20 meet when they take on Trinidad & Tobago here today.

Barring Lasith Malinga's heroics, Mumbai Indians looked pretty ordinary during their last match against CSK on Saturday night.

Having bowled his heart out, the Sri Lankan pacer came up with a match-winning effort with the bat too. His 18-ball 37 eventually made the difference in the death overs. Sans the top stars, Mumbai Indians' fate will largely depend on the Lankan slinger.

The victory against CSK should act as a morale booster for the injury-hit Mumbai Indians. Led by Harbhajan Singh, Mumbai Indians had to leave Sachin Tendulkar, Rohit Sharma and Munaf Patel on the bench for their tournament opener.

For Trinidad & Tobago, they will have tackle Malinga well if they are to win against the Mumbai outfit. The Caribbean side though are capable of springing surprises. The 2009 finalist had an unscathed qualifying round where they won both their matches convincingly to progress further.

Interestingly, all-rounder Kieron Pollardu00a0 shot into fame during his stint with Trinidad & Tobago a couple of years ago, but later chose to play for Mumbai.u00a0

Having finished runners-up in the 2009 edition of the Champions League, they would obviously want to do one better by winning the title this time.
