Recovering from a shoulder injury, Virender Sehwag is feeling good about his batting but isn't ready to take on England in the forthcoming five day internationals that gets underway at Hyderabad on October 17.

The selectors will meet in Chennai today to pick a 15-man squad for the first two ODIs. Sehwag, who spent the last week rehabilitating at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bangalore, told MiD DAY that despite making steady progress with batting, he was concerned about his throwing.
"I want to be completely cured before playing for India," said Sehwag, who took an injection at NCA on Saturday.u00a0 The opener was however picked as Delhi's captain for the Ranji Trophy that begins in November.
Besides Sehwag, Sachin Tendulkar, Munaf Patel, Rohit Sharma, Ishant Sharma, Yuvraj Singh and Zaheer Khan won't be considered for selection. The selectors are keen on continuing with the makeshift opening pair of Parthiv Patel and Ajinkya Rahane who enjoyed reasonable success in the ODIs in England.
Gambhir at No 3
It is learnt that the selectors are opting for Gautam Gambhir to bat at number three, with Virat Kohli, Suresh Raina, skipper MS Dhoni and Ravindra Jadeja to form the core of the middle-order.
In the spin department, R Ashwin, Harbhajan Singh and Pragyan Ojha, will battle for the two available spots. Among the pacemen, four out of RP Singh, Praveen Kumar, Vinay Kumar, Varun Aaron and Umesh Yadav will be picked.
Yusuf Pathan is set to make a comeback after missing the tour of England.
