Sehwag silent on coach Duncan Fletcher's role

India coach Duncan Fletcher is at the receiving end of some tough talk by the Australian media. "The Sunday Age has been told he is contracted to the Board of Control for Cricket in India on a salary in the range of $750,000 a year, making him the highest paid coach of any international cricket team.

When a journalist asked stand-in captain Virender Sehwag on Saturday as to what Fletcher brought to the team, Sehwag replied: "It's difficult to tell you. I will not comment on that. I will not say anything." Fletcher witnessed India's 0-4 drubbing in England and now comes under the microscope after Michael Clarke's team crushed India by the same margin. In 2006-07, when he was in charge of the England team, Australia triumphed 5-0. He started coaching India after Gary Kirsten quit following the World Cup win.
