Shades of McGrath in Ishant Sharma: Waugh

Ishant Sharma might not be bowling at his best, but he would certainly be heartened by Steve Waugh's encouraging words.

The former Australia captain sees a bit of Glenn McGrath in the lanky Indian pacer.

"Ishant is an encouraging potential. I see a bit of Glenn McGrath and Jason Gillespie in him. At the moment he is little down but he will be there for a long time. Most of the teams would love to have him in the side," Waugh said yesterday.
