Don't rush it! That's Shane Warne's advice to injured Australia vice-captain Michael Clarke who missed the India tour due to a back injury suffered during the Champions Trophy.
"Warnie came to my house a few days ago.
"He's suffered a few setbacks when he was playing with his shoulder injury, broken fingers. He's told me to be smart, to listen to the experts. If your back is not rightu00a0you don't want to rush back into it. Get your body healthy. You've got a lot of years ahead of you. Let's make sure you are being smart," Clarke was quoted as saying in the The Daily Telegraph.
Clarke will hoping to be fit for the forthcoming Sir Frank Worrell Trophy Tests against the West Indies and Warne is playing soothing balm to the hilt.
Talking about their friendship, Clarke said: "He is a true friend. He's busy with his life. But if I need him, very rarely does he not answer the phone or send me a text. He'll always reply, he's a true friend through good and bad."
