Sourav Ganguly indicated last night that he doesn't mind the partying, but for that, his team will have to win more often.

"In the first year of the Indian Premier League, we had lots of parties. This year we decided that we need few more wins and then we celebrate," said Ganguly after Kolkata Knight Riders registered their second win in the competition. The hosts beat last year's runners-up Royal Bangalore Challengers by seven wickets at the Eden Gardens.

The Kinight Riders have a new-look outfit what with several changes in the support staff. "Yeah, change in players, coaching staff, and other support staffu2026 all can bring in a change of atmosphere. As long as we are doing well, then everything will be fine," stressed the former India captain.

Ganguly's opposite number, Anil Kumble was simplistic in his reasons for the defeat. "It's just that we lost too many wickets upfront and that cost us the match," he said, adding, "I am confident we can re-group."

On Friday, the Knight Riders beat defending champions Deccan Chargers in the tournament opener at the D Y Patil Stadium in Mumbai. "I don't know the secret of our success. We are playing well and that's important for us. It's important that somebody stands out in the game, that's been happening,"
said Ganguly.
