Disgraced India pace bowler S Sreesanth, who has been life-banned by the BCCI, was in Oman recently to inaugurate a couple of jewellery showrooms. "I was also invited by a local club (not affiliated to Oman Cricket) to bowl at a few batsmen and the young men were impressed when I spoke on the game," he said.

He also revealed that the money he earned for doing the honours at the jewellery showrooms would be donated to India's T20 World Cup-winning blind cricket team.

"I won't disclose the figure I received for the promotional event, but whatever I have earned will be donated to India's blind team," he said. Sreesanth's connection with the blind team is not new. He was at the presentation ceremony after the Indian blind team played their Australian counterparts in Kochi a few weeks ago.
