Sealed his full card for the 2009 Asian Tour in the penultimate event of the year by registering a final round of 64 to finish tied 11th. The prize money earned from that finish helped him claim the last (65th) spot in the Order of Merit pipping Adam Groom by just US$ 681 (Approx Rs 30, 000).
