London: Tom Fell made a sparkling return to cricket on Monday after recovering from two different forms of cancer as he scored a half-century for Worcestershire in their county championship game with Leicestershire.

The 22-year-old - who received a warm and emotional welcome on his home ground New Road - stroked 11 boundaries in his entertaining 61 as he returned to the fray 10 months after he hit 171 vs Middlesex in what was his last game before he faced his health problems.
