After former India medium-pacer Venkatesh Prasad failed to inspire UP in the Ranji season gone by, when the team lost more matches than they won, the state association is looking at foreign help after employing former batsman Rizwan Shamshad as its chief coach.

UPCA CEO Lalit Khanna today informed PTI Bhasha that the they are in talks with the left-handed batsman and Hayden is eager to join the UP youngsters. But Hayden has only three days to spare for the training camp, in which he is ready to coach the Under-23 and U-19 players.

Khanna informed that the talks with Hayden are in the final stages and only the the Australian's remuneration is to be decided. Hayden is expected to join the young UP players at the end of October or the start of November.
