Former India cricketers Virender Sehwag and Mohammad Kaif expressed their delight on social media after ex-India Navy office Kulbhushan Jadhav's death sentence was halted by the International Court of Justice (ICJ) on Thursday.
"Satyamev Jayate! #Kulbhushan Yadav," Sehwag wrote on Twitter. "Congratulations India. Thanks to the International Court of Justice, justice has prevailed," Kaif tweeted.
However, Sehwag and Kaif were immediately trolled. "You guys hv less brains? Even though ICJ stays, we will hang him," a Twitter user tweeted to Sehwag. "In your dreams, just like beating India in a World Cup. Kutta Paalo, Billi Paali, galat fahmi mat paalo," he retorted.
Kaif too was asked to removed Mohammad from his name, but he gave a fitting reply.
"Nobody is Thekedaar of any religion. No name is copyrighted by the Thekedaars. India is by far the most inclusive & tolerant country," Kaif tweeted.
