Defending his actions, actor Shah Rukh Khan said that the staff at Wankhede Stadium were high-handed and that he deserves an apology.
Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan today hit out at reports that he was drunk and misbehaved with officials at the Wankhede stadium and said that he deserved an apology.
"They should apologise to me," Shah Rukh told reporters. He alleged that the staff at the stadium Wednesday night was high handed and that they misbehaved with children including little girls.

The Bollywood star landed in trouble for allegedly abusing Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) officials including some managing committee members and security staff at the Wankhede Stadium after the match that virtually sealed Kolkata Knight Rider's playoff berth.

He is said to have misbehaved and pushed the security guard at the stadium, following which he also abused MCA officials when they tried to intervene late Wednesday night.

"He pushed the security guard and misbehaved with him. He also used bad language with security officials at the stadium and when we tried to intervene, he yelled out expletives at us," MCA Treasurer Ravi Sawant told reporters Thursday.

Following the incident, MCA officials registered a complaint at the Marine Drive police station.
