SHANE Warne is a cricketing legend and has become more popular in India after he led Rajasthan Royals to a stupendous win in last year's inaugural Indian Premier League.u00a0
Warne's exploits as a champion leg-spinner are legendary, but he is equally infamous for his sms scandals and an eye for beautiful women.
Since Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty has now become a stakeholder in the Rajasthan Royals Indian Premier League team, she better get close to Warne at her own risk. Her businessman boyfriend and co-stake holder in Rajasthan Royals, Raj Kundra is naturally expected to be a bit wary when Warne is around. But, the UK-based businessman laughed off the Warne sms threat to Shilpa. "I have heard Warne is back with his wife. Shilpa is free to give her number to him but I know she has a better choice," Kundra told MiD DAY in a light-hearted talk at the IPL auction yesterday.u00a0
Having scripted a dream run last season with a bunch of no-hoppers, Kundra revealed that Rajasthan Royals' bids were keenly eyed by most of the franchises at yesterday's auction.u00a0u00a0
"The last time whoever we bid for became stars so whoever we were bidding for this time, the others would start bidding for them," revealed Kundra.
That explains the frantic bidding for a relative unknown 34-year-old South African Tyron Henderson. Royals won the bid for the Middlesex professional for a whopping $650,000.
