Delhi's Sehwag will be back at DY Patil Stadium, where he scored a 33-ball hundred in an inter-office Twenty20 game

Knowing the kind of touch he was in the just-concluded World Cup, scoring just 23 runs in the two matches of the Indian Premier League (IPL) fourth season does not justify Virender Sehwag's form.

However, the Delhi Daredevils skipper would be keen to revive his as well as the team's fortunes when they take on Pune Warriors today. And he couldn't have asked for a better place than the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai, which has been a happy hunting ground for him.

Sehwag scored 40 runs in the only IPL match he has played at the venue in 2008. In March the same year, Sehwag mesmerised fans with a belligerent 33-ball 100 while playing for ONGC in a T20 corporate tournament.

That innings also silenced the critics who had written off the Nawab of Najafgarh after a run of poor scores.

Pune skipper Yuvraj Singh hoped Sehwag would take it easy against them.

"Sehwag is a great player and against such players you can make only a few strategies. It is very difficult to contain him if he gets going. We have made plans so that Sehwag does not score much runs. I hope he takes it easy against us," Yuvraj said on the eve of the match.

Delhi Daredevils did not practice while Pune Warriors had their training session at the MIG Club in Bandra on Saturday.

Yuvraj said it was important not to get complacent after two consecutive wins. "It is nice to have two wins in a row. (It is important) not to get complacent. Delhi are a good side. We have to make our plans and execute it well," he said.
