Three of Sachin Tendulkar's 100 international centuries have come in Hyderabad, but they have all come in one-day cricket. Will the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium (RGIS) witness his first Test ton?

Fat chance given the masterly fashion he batted in the first innings of the Chennai Test before being bowled by Australian off-spinner Nathan Lyon for 81. The RGIS is the only Indian Test ground, apart from Kanpur's Green Park. that has not seen a Tendulkar Test ton.

The Hyderabad crowd, especially those who witnessed his 186 not out in the ODI against New Zealand in 1999-2000, will be hoping for a three-figure knock. Apart from the massive 175 he scored vs Australia (2009), Tendulkar also took a hundred off NZ in the 2003 TVS Cup.

Hyderabad local Venkatapathy Raju, who's been Tendulkar's teammate till his last Test in Kolkata 2001, is hoping for ton too. "I am not ruling that (a hundred) out. It will be great for the local fans," Raju said.u00a0
