>> A series of low scores in Tests in 2006 (he failed to score a 50 in six Tests against England and the West Indies) and an injury in late 2006 led to Yuvraj's ouster from the squad. He was picked to face Pakistan in November 2007 and scored a career-best 169 at Bangalore.
>> Yuvraj had a very poor Test series against Australia when India toured Down Under (2007-08). He was dropped from after the first two Tests. However, in the landmark Test against England soon after the Mumbai terror attacks, Yuvraj scored a fine unbeaten 85 in an unbroken stand of 163 with Sachin Tendulkar to beat England at Chennai. It was the fourth highest successful run chase in Test history then.
>> In 2010, Yuvraj was dropped from the ODI squad - the first such instance in the limited overs format, since he began playing for the country.
