Indian cricketer Abhinav Mukund recently went on social media to break the news of his grandfather's passing. Mukund went on to reveal that his grandfather died due to coronavirus. He said that his grandpa was 'hale and healthy until the virus took him away'.
Mukund wrote on Twitter, "With great sadness, i would like to inform you all that i have lost my grandfather Mr. TK Subbarao to CoVid19. He was 95. A man known for his discipline and his exemplary routines, was otherwise hale and healthy till the virus took him away. Om Shanti."

Mukund is a Tamil-Nadu born batsman who has featured for India in seven Test matches, making his debut in 2011 and playing his last Test in 2017. he scored 320 runs so far with a top score of 81.
In the Indian Premier League, Abhinav Mukund played for franchises like Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore.
Mukund has also played 141 first-class matches scoring over 9700 runs averaging at 46.61 with 29 centuries and 35 fifties and a top score of an unbeaten 300.
