Umran Malik
Former India all-rounder Irfan Pathan, who mentored Umran Malik during his stint as coach of the Jammu & Kashmir team, is fine with the tearaway pacer not being picked for the upcoming T20 World Cup in Australia.
"It is good that he has not been picked for the World Cup. He has to be groomed; he's quite inexperienced. Let him learn while playing for India âA' and then gradually mature. His time will come," Pathan told mid-day recently.

Umran, 22, constantly clocked 150 kmph in the last IPL, but couldn't make a mark in the three T20Is he played on the tour of Ireland and England. He picked up two wickets at an economy rate of 12.44.

Pathan wasn't critical of India's squad for the T20 World Cup as well. "There's no point in criticising when the team has been announced," Pathan said.
