Mumbai beat Baroda by 13 runs (D/L method) to register their first win in an Elite Group âB' match of the Vijay Hazare Trophy here on Thursday.
Batting first, the defending champions bundled out Baroda for 210 in 49.1 overs. Spinners Tanush Kotian (3-44), Prashant Solanki (3-61) and Shams Mulani (2-40) were the pick of the bowlers for Mumbai, while Dhawal Kulkarni and Tushar Deshpande claimed one wicket each. In reply, Mumbai scored 100-3 in 23 overs before play was interrupted due to rain.
