In the 25th clash of the ICC World Cup 2023, England will face Sri Lanka in Bengaluru's M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. England captain Jos Buttler has rolled up his sleeves to help England win the clash against Sri Lanka. Kusal Mendis will look to lead the team in a better way in the absence of Dasun Shanaka.
England skipper Jos Buttler won the toss and elected to bat first against Sri Lanka.

England's lead pacer Reece Topley is ruled out of the tournament due to a fracture in his bowling arm's index finger. England will feel the absence of one pace bowler in the side. The defending champions so far have not delivered the performances accordingly and will look to turn the tables in today's clash. Jos Buttler needs to win all five matches to somehow make it to the semi-finals of the ICC World Cup 2023.

Later, Glenn Maxwell went on to score the fastest century in ODI World Cup history. He made 106 runs in just 44 deliveries. Australia set a target of 400 runs for the Netherlands to chase down.
None of the Netherlands players was able to score huge runs against the five times champions Australia. The Dutch were bowled out for just 90 runs. Australia registered the biggest ever ODI win in World Cup history.
