Abhishek Sharma's 66 runs helped Sunrisers Hyderabad to win the IPL 2024 match against Punjab Kings. Facing just 28 deliveries, he smashed 5 fours and 6 sixes. Heinrich Klaasen was another standout performer for Hyderabad. SRH successfully chased the target in 19.1 overs.

Having needed to chase a target of 215 runs in the IPL 2024 match against Punjab Kings, Sunrisers Hyderabad lost the early wicket of their explosive opening batsman Travis Head. PBKS lead pacer Arshdeep Singh dismissed Head on the very first ball of the second innings. Coming in to bat at number three, Rahul Tripathi scored 33 runs off 18 balls. He smashed 4 fours and 2 sixes. Despite leaking runs with the ball, Nitish Kumar Reddy contributed with the willow. During his knock, Nitish accumulated 37 runs in 25 balls including 1 four and 3 sixes. Later, Klaasen registered 42 runs in 26 balls which were laced with 3 fours and 2 sixes. Shahbaz Ahmed departed on three runs. Abdul Samad and Sanvir Singh registered 11 and 6 runs, respectively.
PBKS lead pacers Arshdeep Singh and Harshal Patel claimed two wickets each in the IPL 2024 match against SRH. Harpreet Brar and Shashank Singh, too registered one wicket each to their names. Rishi Dhawan, Rahul Chahar and Atharva Taide went wicketless in the IPL 2024 match against SRH. Despite claiming two wickets, Harshal Patel was the most expensive performer from Punjab's perspective. In his four overs spell, the pacer leaked 49 runs.

Prabhsimran Singh was the highest run-scorer for Punjab Kings in the IPL 2024 match against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Followed by, Atharva Taide, Rilee Rossouw and Jitesh Sharma. Pacer T. Natarajan managed to pick two wickets for Hyderabad. Apart from him, SRH skipper Pat Cummins and Vijayakanth Viyaskanth bagged one wicket each.
