The Mumbai senior women’s team pose with their T20 Trophy
Jemimah Rodrigues's Mumbai team outclassed Uttarakhand by six wickets to clinch the city's maiden Senior Women's T20 Trophy in Raipur on Thursday.
Put into bat at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium, the Ekta Bisht-led Uttarakhand team were restricted to 84-8 in the allotted 20 overs.
Mumbai-based Uttarakhand opener Punam Raut and one-drop Jasia Akhter scored 24 and 20 respectively.

For Mumbai, leg-spinner Prakashika Naik claimed three for 16, while pacer M Dakshini and Fatima Jaffer took two wickets apiece.
In reply, Mumbai secured the win in 15.2 overs, thanks to skipper Rodrigues's 30-ball unbeaten 30 (3x4) and Humairaa Kaazi's 23 off 21 balls (4x4).
