The T20 World Cup 2021 edition came to a close on November 14 bringing down the curtains to yet another exciting tournament.
Australia defeated New Zealand in the T20 WC final by 8 wickets to lift their first-ever T20 WC trophy in style. David Warner was awarded the man-of-the-series and starred in the final as well. The T20 WC 2021 edition had many upsets with high-billed players not living up to the mark. However, there were many surprises as other cricketers stepped up on the big stage for their team. Many new milestones were created and some records were broken.

WI vs ENG:
The West Indies cricket team's total of 55 all out was the lowest by a full member team in a men's T20 World Cup match.
AFG 190/4 (20 overs) vs SCO
Afghanistan posted a total of 190/4 vs Scotland and won the match by 130 runs. In terms of runs, this was Afghanistan's biggest winning margin in T20Is.
Tim Southee from New Zealand took his 100th wicket in his T20I career during the match vs Pakistan.
ENG V SL:
England cricketer Eoin Morgan won his 43rd match as skipper to become the most successful captain ever in T20I history.
Jos Buttler 101' (67)
Jos Buttler of England scored his first-ever century in T20I cricket.
Wanindu Hasaranga of Sri Lanka bagged his 50th wicket in T20I cricket.
SA vs ENG:
Pacer Kagiso Rabada became the first South African team bowler to take a hat-trick in T20I cricket.
