Sir Vivian Richards
Sir Vivian Richards has joined a chorus which will not be sweet music to the ears of those who believe that the pitches for the last two India v England Test matches were disgraceful.
Richards said in a Facebook post that spinning tracks should be acceptable just as seaming decks are.
"Those who are moaning and groaning about the wicket should realise that there are times when you are going to get a seaming track on which the ball is bouncing off a good length," Richards said.
"Now, you are seeing the other side. This is why it has been given the name Test cricket - because of the test of the mind, the will and everything else that goes with it when you are competing," he added.

"You are going to India, you are going to spin land⦠expect that," he emphasised.
