Virat Kohli on Tuesday quashed reports stating the ace cricketer and his wife Anushka Sharma are planning to build a cricket pitch at their Alibaug farmhouse.
Kohli, who is one of the most followed celebrities on Instagram with 256 million followers, took to his stories to term the reports as "fake news".
He wrote, "Bachpan se jo akhbar padha hai, voh bhi fake news chaapne lage ab (The newspaper that I've been reading since childhood has also started publishing fake news now)."
Earlier this week, Virat Kohli had also refuted reports that he earns a staggering Rs. 11.4 crores for each sponsored post through Instagram.

"While I am grateful and indebted to all that I've received in life, the news that has been making rounds about my social media earnings is not true," Kohli wrote on X (formerly called Twitter).

On the work front, Kohli, who was absent from India vs West Indies T20I series, is gearing up for the Asia Cup starting August 30. India will begin their campaign against Pakistan on September 2.
He took to X on Tuesday to share a video of him running on the treadmill with a caption that read, "Chhuti hai fir bhi bhaagna toh padega (Even though it's a holiday, running is necessary)."
India is yet to announce their squad for tournaments like Asia Cup and World Cup but players have already started preparing.
