As has been the case with Virat Kohli's media interactions, on Saturday, he attacked the press - who he often refers to as noise on the outside - for the kind of questions being asked.

‘We win and fail as a team'

"I know what happens when we lose one game. We win as a team and we fail as a team," he said after losing the third Test.

He nearly lost his cool when a scribe asked if the team would have discussions about back foot play. He had the question thrown back at the journalist: "I honestly don't know what to say. I mean how do you play a ball on the back foot which is not back of length?" When the scribe explained what he meant and whether India are missing out on runs, Kohli said, "Okay, thanks!"

There was also a question on his TV presentation chat where he spoke about the lower-order being put under pressure every time due to the top order's failure and if he would like to push Rishabh Pant up the order.

All fired up

"I don't think you heard what I said at the presentation ceremony right." When a question cropped up about what was creating problems - line or length - the skipper finally smiled. "Thank God, finally it looks like a cricket press conference," he said.
