Virat Kohli on Thursday announced on his social media pages that he will stand down as India's Twenty20 captain after the World T20.
The announcement put in sharp focus BCCI's muddled communication, coming days after Treasurer Arun Dhumal rubbished the same claims.

Worse, on Thursday, Secretary Jay Shah said in a contradictory statement that he has been discussing the leadership issue with Kohli for âthe last six months'. Dhumal told mid-day on Thursday he was surprised by the announcement.
