Rohit Sharma

India's star opening batsman Rohit Sharma enjoys the top spot on the list. The right-hander has featured in 17 T20I matches against South Africa and has smashed 420 runs. Sharma's highest score against the Proteas in T20Is is 106 runs which came during South Africa's tour of India back in 2015. The Indian opener has one century and two half-centuries against South Africa registered to his name

David Miller

The second player on the list is South Africa's David Miller. He has played 18 matches against the "Men in Blue" and has registered 379 T20I runs. Miller scored 106 runs against India during the second T20I in 2022 which is his highest score to date. So far, the left-hander has smashed one century and two half-centuries against India

Virat Kohli

The third spot holder in the list is India's stalwart batsman Virat Kohli. The veteran has played 13 T20Is against South Africa and has 318 runs under his belt. Kohli's highest score of 72 runs against the Proteas came during the second semi-final of the World T20 in 2014. So far, the right-hander has not scored any century against the South Africans but has two half-centuries registered

Quinton de Kock

Proteas' wicketkeeper-batsman Quinton de Kock who made his last appearance in the recent ICC ODI World Cup 2023 is the fourth on the list. Quinton has scored 312 runs against India in 10 T20I outings. His highest score of 79 runs came during the third T20I against India in 2019. The left-hander has not registered a single century against India but has registered four half-centuries

Shikhar Dhawan

Shikhar Dhawan is the fifth player on the list with 233 runs in seven T20I matches against South Africa. His highest score is 72 runs against  South Africa. The veteran left-hander batsman has just one half-century and has no century registered against South Africa
