Atletico Madrid beat Arsenal via shootout

Atletico Madrid edged Arsenal 3-1 on penalties in a friendly here yesterday. After Luciano Vietto's opener for Atletico, teenager Smith Rowe equalised for Gunners as it finished 1-1 after normal time.

The game went straight to penalties where substitute Atletico goalkeeper Antonio Adan starred, saving three before coolly slotting the winner himself.
