St Mary's hardly gave the Scottish boys any chance to dominate and they were rewarded for their efforts quickly into the match when Mahsuwin Kumar struck a ninth minute goal, which was followed by another from Abde Ali Tajir in the very next minute.
However, Scottish dished out a better effort in the second half , but their hopes were dashed away when Tajir scored for St Mary's in the 36th minute.
'Top performance'
"The boys put up a good performance and were rewarded. When you play a quality side like Bombay Scottish, you need to bring out the best in you and we succeeded in doing that," said St Mary's ICSE coach, Savio Rodrigues.
