Jack Wilshere with his children
Former Arsenal football star Jack Wilshere is considering retirement at 29. According to The Sun, Wilshere, who is without a club after being released by Bournemouth in the summer, revealed how he finds questions from his kids most tricky to deal with.
Wilshere has Archie and Delilah from a previous relationship, and Siena and Jack Junior with wife Andriana. The England footballer told The Athletic: "My kids are at an age where they understand.
Especially Archie, who's nine. He's actually having conversations with me, saying, âWhat about the MLS?' or âWhy aren't you playing in La Liga?' or âHow come no club wants you?' But how do I explain that to him? He loves football. He knows everything about football and it is difficult to explain to him."
Wilshere revealed that sometimes kids can be very rude in their conversations. "They've got friends at school and you know what kids can be like, they can be quite brutal. âWhy is your dad not working? Is he not good enough? Is he not good at football?' Yeah, that's tough."
