Olympic champion and world record-holder Bolt breezed through to the 200m semi-finals and remains on course to claim a world sprint double after coasting through to the semi-finals of the World Athletics Championships last night.

"I am okay. I may have looked tired this morning because the 200m was earlier than the 100m," said Bolt, who competed in a t-shirt rather than his usual singlet.

"I am a little tired, but okay. I need to get a little rest this evening and then I will be fresher for the semi-final tomorrow (Wednesday)."

The 22-year-old Jamaican, who set a new world record of 9.58sec in winning the 100m on Sunday, is seeking to emulate his triple Olympic gold medal haul achieved at the Beijing Games last year.

After winning an opening heat in the morning session Bolt turned in a mighty impressive performance in the quarter-final. It is difficult to see him being beaten, injury and a shocking loss of form permitting.
