8-year-old Musheer Khan set to break brother Sarfaraz's Kanga League record

Musheer Khan is all set to be Dr HD Kanga Cricket League's youngest debutant today when he turns out for Sportsfield in their 'G' Division match against Rajawadi CC at the Oval Maidan.


Eight-year-old Musheer is excited to play his maiden Kanga League match, but is not getting carried away.

"I know I will break my brother's record tomorrow. I am not very happy about it though," left-arm spinner Musheer said.

Sarfaraz, who recently made his India U-19 debut, became the tournament's youngest debutant when he was 10 in 2007.

Musheer's father Naushad will lead the team. "I will play in the lower division this time to guide my son. I felt he is ready for the next level. I am praying he does well," said the doting father. u00a0
